MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) - Belarusian beef factories are being inspected for eligibility to export of beef to Vietnam,
BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.
A team of representatives of the Veterinary Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam are on a visit to Belarus from 29 July to 2 August. Vietnamese specialists will tour a number of Belarusian enterprises in Minsk Oblast, Brest Oblast and Grodno Oblast to examine the production facilities and the quality and safety control systems.
The Vietnamese delegation is also set to tour cattle breeding farms and to visit the Belarusian State Veterinary Center which conducts monitoring over safety of animal products.
The inspection is necessary for the approval of Belarusian beef to go to the Vietnamese market.
