MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – In January-June 2024, Belarus' industrial output amounted to Br100.2 billion in current prices, up by 7.1% in comparable prices year-on-year,
BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
The mining industry expanded by 4.8% and the processing industry - by 7.3% year-on-year.
The industries producing electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air reported a 7.6% increase in the output. The industries providing water supply, waste collection, waste processing, waste disposal, pollution cleanup edged up by 0.7%.
In June 2024 the industrial production index equaled 102.6% over June 2023.
