In January-June 2025, Br23.7 billion of capital investment was utilized in Belarus, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
Minsk Oblast accounted for 25.5% of utilized capital investment. The city of Minsk utilized 21.2% of capital investment, Brest Oblast 13%, Gomel Oblast 13.3%, Grodno Oblast 9.6%, Vitebsk Oblast 8.8%, and Mogilev Oblast 8.7%.
The technological structure of capital investment is as follows: construction and installation works (48.2%), machinery, equipment, vehicles (38%), other works and costs (11.4%), intellectual property (2.4%).
By type of ownership, 38.4% was government capital investment, 55.4% was private capital investment, and 6.2% was foreign capital investment.
