BelTA has learned."In my opinion, citizens showed rather great enthusiasm. A total of 11 applications were submitted. I want to emphasize that participation in the election process, the election of both MPs and president are very important events in the life of the state and society. Certainly, candidates should think over their actions and prepare in advance, clearly understand the requirements of the legislation, know what documents should be submitted to get the CEC's approval," Igor Karpenko said.
Belarus' presidential election is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
