BREST, 7 May (BelTA) – The electronic queue system has been implemented at all Belarusian checkpoints at the border with the European Union,
BelTA learned from Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky on 7 May.
The electronic queue system is uniform across the country and covers all checkpoints. “Since 1 January 2026 a new system for remote registration in the electronic queue has been in development. This option is now available only for passenger cars. This service is widely used by citizens,” Vladimir Orlovsky emphasized. In his words, more than half of the users register in the system remotely. This can be done from home or from a car. Users can go to the border crossing after receiving the notification.

The customs service has also introduced an additional service this year. “If someone needs to cross the border in a hurry and cannot wait due to various reasons, they can book a priority passage. For a fee. But the service is in demand as well. Especially at the Brest checkpoint because it is the main direction to the European Union,” the chairman of the State Customs Committee said.
