Journalists treated to apples from orchard praised by Lukashenko

23/09/2024 11:09
MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) - During Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s working trip to Molodechno District on 20 September, journalists were treated to apples from the orchard praised by the head of state. A funny incident was aired on Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.

Journalists were given a huge chest of apples whose taste qualities were praised by the president. Constant work in fields requires good nutrition. Apples, by the way, contain iron and vitamin C.

“Are you trying to win us over?” the journalists jokingly asked Minsk Oblast Governor Aleksandr Turchin.

“Absolutely not. But, by asking such provocative questions, you are very unlikely to be treated to anything next time,” the governor replied, smiling.
