Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decree No.400 on 18 November. The decree has passed a plan on preparing drafts of legislative acts in 2026, the press service of the Belarusian leader
told BelTA.
The plan was put together by the National Center of Legislation and Legal Information by means of thoroughly reworking proposals submitted by government agencies, other organizations, and citizens.
While shortlisting the bills, the society’s real need for addressing corresponding relations and the priority of their legislative regulation were taken into account.
The lawmaking plan includes 33 bills, including brand new ones such as the Healthcare Code, the Ecological Code, the laws on civil protection and on foreign gratuitous aid. Provisions have also been made for preparing other bills designed to update the effective laws on a systemic basis.
