VITEBSK, 10 July (BelTA) - Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk is an essential tool of the Belarusian state policy, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during the opening ceremony of the 34th edition of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk on 10 July, BelTA learned.
“This is the essence of our entire policy. They say that Slavianski Bazaar is outside of politics. No. It is an important part of it. It is crucial to the policy that we, heads of state, (not only of Slavic nations, as we already see) will implement. This is where it all begins. Therefore, this is big politics. Without xenophobia, without any prejudices. Honestly and openly,” the Belarusian leader said.
