Lukashenko sends condolences to Republic of Korea over deadly floods

MINSK, 17 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a message of condolences to the people of the Republic of Korea in connection with numerous deaths and massive destruction caused by floods, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It is with great concern and sorrow that the Republic of Belarus learned the news about numerous fatalities and large-scale destruction caused by floods in the Republic of Korea,” the message of condolences reads. “On behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I am sending heart-felt condolences to all Koreans and families of victims and sincere words of support and best wishes for the injured,” the president said.

The Belarusian head of state also expressed hope for prompt rebuilding of the infrastructure destroyed by the disaster and a return to normal life in the affected regions.
