Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 259 to raise pensions, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
According to the decree, labor pensions will be recalculated and increased by an average of 5% on 1 September 2023.
In September, Br1.7 billion will be allocated to pay pensions, of which Br72 million is additional costs associated with the increase in accordance with the decree.
