Lukashenko to attend Victory Day festivities in Moscow, Minsk on 9 May

MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) - On 9 May Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will take part in the festive events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Minsk and Moscow, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

On 8 May, the head of state will go on a working visit to the Russian Federation to attend the Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow on May 9 together with other foreign leaders. Belarusian servicemen will also march through Red Square. 

In the evening of the same day Aleksandr Lukashenko will take part in the military parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War in the Belarusian capital, near the Minsk Hero City monument.
