As of 1 April 2026, a total of 153,100 large families have opened deposit accounts in Belarus under the family capital program, including 82,600 deposit accounts to the total amount of $826 million and 70,400 deposit accounts totaling Br1.9 billion,

As of 1 April 2026, about 103,000 families applied for permission to use family capital ahead of schedule. Of them, 80% applied to use the money to improve housing conditions, 9% to pay for healthcare services, 10% to pay for education and 1% to buy health products for disabled people.
The ministry granted permission to use family capital earlier to 100,000 applicants. The regional breakdown is the following: Brest Oblast - 21,000 families, Vitebsk Oblast -9,700, Gomel Oblast – 16,000, Grodno Oblast - 12,000), Minsk Oblast - 17,200, Mogilev Oblast- 10,100 and the city of Minsk - 13,800.
The Labor and Social Security Ministry noted that the family capital program applies to families raising three and more children. As of 1 January 2026, the amount of the family capital is Br35,505. The family capital in this amount is granted to families upon the birth (adoption) of a third or subsequent child during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2026.
