MINSK, 24 June (BelTA) – More than 2,700 people are expected to participate in the 4th edition of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk in online and offline formats, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Maksim Yermolovich told journalists at a press conference, BelTA has learned.

Over 2,700 delegates have registered to take part in the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum. “They include those who will be at the forum at the International Exhibition Center in Minsk, as well as those who will join via video link. The forum has already registered 288 speakers and discussion participants from 26 countries. This will be a large-scale event where government officials, experts, the academic community, and business representatives will discuss the entire agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union and its development prospects,” Maksim Yermolovich said.

According to the EEC minister, a delegation of Iran is also expected to participate in the forum. “All eyes are on Iran today, we are closely monitoring what is happening in this country. Given the current situation, we hope that all members of the Iranian delegation will be able to participate. We are expecting representatives of various government agencies. We actively cooperated with Iran even before it became an observer state in the EAEU. And after the country was granted the observer status, cooperation extended to all the areas,” he said.
