MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Since 2021, the trade between Belarus and Kazakhstan has been over $1 billion, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said during his talks with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov of Kazakhstan in Minsk on 14 November,

"Our economic agenda is very extensive. We are developing our trade cooperation and joint projects. We think it is very important for the bilateral relations. Since 2021, our trade has exceeded $1 billion. The results are good but we should not sit idle by. It is obvious that our potential is greater," Roman Golovchenko said.
He emphasized that Belarus and Kazakhstan have a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation and interaction within the integration associations. "We are working on strengthening collective security in the CSTO, enhancing economic and humanitarian cooperation in the CIS and the EAEU. The accession of our country to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has become a landmark event. We thank our friends from Kazakhstan for their support in this important decision for us," the prime minister added.
