MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has presented state awards to workers of various industries,

Aleksandr Turchin said: “We honor those, whose labor makes a real contribution to strengthening the economy and the social sphere of our country. The awardees include representatives of various industries: agribusiness, manufacturing sector, civil engineering, healthcare, education, culture, and many other ones. Behind every award is a history of selfless labor on the part of those, whose example proves that Belarus’ strength lies in its people. You are the foundation, the pillar that makes our country strong.”

He stressed that the high government awards are not only about honor and respect. They are bundled with the great responsibility of setting an example for others, particularly for the young generation. “And of demonstrating what it means to love your Motherland with deeds instead of words, demonstrating that honest and dedicated work, devotion to duty and the readiness to come to aid are the values that make up the core of our nation,” the prime minister noted.
