The competition started on the initiative of the Brest Regional Executive Committee on December 27. Christmas trees from all districts of the Brest region, as well as from the Leninsky and Moskovsky districts of Brest, claimed the role of the best New Year's beauty. Those who wished could vote for their favorite "candidacy" on the telegram channel of the regional executive committee.
According to the voting results, the places are distributed as follows:
1st place - tree in Baranovichi (5,711 votes);
2nd place - Christmas tree of the Moskovsky district of Brest (3,681 votes);
3rd place - tree of the Zhabinka region (3,069 votes).
