Since 1 January 2023, a total of 404,926 residents of the neighboring EU states of Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have taken advantage of the visa waiver to come to Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
This included 242,240 citizens of Lithuania, 93,277 citizens and 28,319 non-citizens of Latvia, and 41,090 Polish citizens.
A total of 789,912 people from the neighboring EU countries have visited Belarus since the launch of the visa-waiver program, including 490,503 citizens of Lithuania, 55,198 non-citizens and 181,411 citizens of Latvia, and 62,800 Polish citizens.
