MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received the Day of People’s Unity greetings from around the globe, BelTA has learned.
“Greetings and wishes for prosperity and wellbeing from friends of the Belarusian people are coming from almost all continents!” the ministry said.
Video postcards have come from more than 35 countries, namely Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Finland, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, the UAE, the USA, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam.
“Congratulations, Belarus” was heard today in different languages and with different accents, but invariably sincerely and with love for our country,” the ministry said.
Most often, foreign friends wished the Belarusian state and its people prosperity, development, promising future, and also “unshakable national unity, eternal peace and stability”.
