
MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) - The project of the Belarusian Economy Ministry and UNIDO on the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in Brest Oblast has been successfully completed, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
All goals and objectives of the project have been accomplished. To a large extent, the success of the project was achieved thanks to sustainable financing from the Russian Federation through the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Trust Fund, as well as close partnership with Brest Oblast Executive Committee, Brest Science and Technology Park and Brest State Technical University.
“The systematic work of the Economy Ministry, UNIDO and Russia helps, based on the results of this project, expand cooperation on the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies to other regions of Belarus,” the press service said.
The new project of international technical assistance “Assistance to the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies in Mogilev Oblast of Belarus” was approved by Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.592 of 8 September 2023 “On approval of the project of international technical assistance”.
