BREST, 10 July (BelTA) – More than 900 participants from Belarus, Russia, and Tajikistan will compete in the Bison Race obstacle run, which will be held in Brest on 12 July, Head of the Sports Department of the Brest City Executive Committee Aleksei Krivonosov told BelTA.
The start and finish zones will be located in the City Garden, while the route itself will run along the Mukhavets River embankment and the eco-trail. “We change the challenges for every event, so participants must always be ready for surprises on the course,” the organizers noted.
The event traditionally attracts both professional athletes and fans of active recreation.
The opening ceremony will take place in the City Garden at 9:00. At 9:30, participants will start the first race. Depending on age, they will have to cover different distances. The main course for adults will be 7 km and include 20 obstacles. For children, a 2-kilometer course with 10 obstacles has been prepared.
