MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – The Armed Forces of Belarus continue training sessions together with fighters of the private military company (PMC) Wagner, BelTA has learned.
For a week units of Belarusian special operations forces will practice carrying out combat training missions together with PMC Wagner representatives in the military training area Brestsky.
Representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry noted that in the current geopolitical situation PMC Wagner’s real combat experience represents an opportunity for continuing the Belarusian army’s policy in favor of modernization, re-equipment, and prompt adoption of the experience of modern military conflicts into the training program.
All the decisions being made by the top-ranking officers of the Defense Ministry now pursue one goal: to improve the cohesion and training standards of army units for the sake of ensuring the military security of the Belarusian state.
