Licensing

The right on realization of separate kinds of activity by legal and physical persons in interests of national safety, a social order, protection of rights and freedom, morals, population health, preservation of the environment can be realized after reception special sanctions (licenses) in accordance with established procedure.

The license is a document which allows the subject of management to realize the indicated kind of activity during resolute term and determines conditions of realization of such activity.

It is forbidden to realize separate kinds of activity without corresponding license or breaking rules and requirements of established order and legislation acts.

The basic normative legal act regulating questions of licensing in Belarus is the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus from July, 14, 2003 № 17 «About licensing of separate activity kinds», and also a number of acts of the Soviet of Ministers.
