After spending nearly one month in basements and bomb shelters a family from Mariupol managed to escape from the combat zone. The road to the Belarusian city of Brest took nearly 2,500km and more than two weeks. The family is safe now and is getting reaccustomed to peaceful life. The couple and their kids have been granted a temporary residence permit. The Belarusian Society of the Red Cross delivered food sets and hygiene sets to the forced migrants. The family intends to stay in Belarus in the future.
