On December, 13-15 Belarusian Father Frost’s residence celebrated its 10th anniversary. Various fairy-tale heroes from Russia and Belarus came to congratulate the owner of the magic manor, brought a lot of gifts for him. All those present met the solemn procession of Fathers Frosts, accompanied by an orchestra of Father-Frostlike dressed musicians, which marched from the village Kamenyuki. A press-conference was held, during which an agreement, establishing a “Fairy map of Russia and Belarus”, was signed. The map shows the allocation of wizards’ and fairy-tale characters’ residences. But all the main events took place at the Manor. At several venues performances were held, Craftsman City worked offering various souvenirs, one could participate in circle dance around the Christmas tree, meet fancy rabbits, squirrels, bison and other "forest dwellers" everywhere & take a picture with them. The attention was drawn to the fairy-tale characters who came for celebration: Russian Father Frost, King Berendey, Shoo-Babai, Cossack Santa Claus, Bolotnik , Zyuzya and others.
As expected, the festival attracted about 10,000 visitors. In addition to our countrymen, there were many tourists from Russia and the Ukraine. Holiday events were covered by about 40 different media: TV-channels , newspapers, online-publications, etc.
Although the invited magicians left, Father Frost has a lot to do - New Year holidays are coming, and he is preparing to welcome many more guests.
