On 30 January, Brest Local History Museum presented the project 12 Artifacts For the Millennium of Brest. Every month of 2019, Brest residents and visitors will have an opportunity to see rare exhibits from the museum's collections: documents, items of archeology, icon painting, vexillology, and other rarities of historical, cultural and memorial value. Each artifact will be exhibited for only one week.
The first artifact presented to the public is a boxwood comb of the early 13th century with 13 Cyrillic letters written on it.
